Women are at least twice as likely to experience an episode of major depression as men
Compared to their white counterparts, Black women are only half as likely to seek help.
Sista Afya Community Care exists to change that.

A much-needed space where Black women can connect and heal
SACC focuses our programs on serving Black women who are in their young adult years (Ages 18-35). We believe that supporting Black women in their young adult years can help to change the trajectory of their lives by engaging them in culturally responsive and gender-responsive mental wellness care.
